L'imprimerie is hiring a bread / pastry baker (
We are a community bakery in Bushwick providing a welcoming and positive experience to all our community members. With quality-focused, locally-sourced ingredients, we create artisan bread, French viennoiseries, sandwiches and serve Sey coffee.
Candidates should have a great deal of respect for their craft and be willing to learn and grow in a small, hands-on and fast-paced environment. This is a small 5 bakers team.
We are committed to using local farms for our dairy and much of our produce. Including sourcing wheat berries, rye and buckwheat from upstate farms and milling in-house . Experience in European artisan style bread and in traditional viennoiserie a big plus.
This position involves shifts beginning at 2am and candidates must be prepared to organize their schedule accordingly.
Compensation based on experience and skills, as well as performance during trail.

Requirements:
• Full-time availability

• At least 2 year in a bakery or kitchen environment
