Job Title: Senior Director Partners and Programs

Salary Range: $80-90,000 Plus commissions

Division: JB&A

Location: Remote

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

What you will do:

The Senior Director Partners and Programs is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure success. This role involves negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance, and fostering long-term partnerships that align with the company's strategic objectives. You will understand our vendors’ business and work with marketing to create and sell strategic marketing plans that help vendors increase their market share and drive sales through our distribution channels. The Senior Director Partners and Programs is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing strategic partnerships and partner programs to drive mutual business growth. This role involves creating, launching, and managing partner programs that align with the company’s objectives, enhancing partner relationships, and ensuring the success of joint initiatives. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to maximize the value of partnerships and ensure that programs deliver measurable results while ensuring that performance meets or exceeds expectations and that the program delivers value to both the company and its partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
  • Sell Vendor Marketing Plans.
  • Meet/Exceed Marketing Sales Quota.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and its vendors.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, contracts, and marketing agreements with vendors to ensure favorable outcomes for the company and vendor growth.
  • Work with management to highlight areas of success and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design, present, and sell tailored marketing programs that align with vendor growth and success.
  • Design, launch, and manage comprehensive partner programs that align with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Define program structure, benefits, and requirements to attract and retain high-quality partners.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the vendor marketing sales and partner program.
  • Monitor vendor/partner performance and program effectiveness through regular assessments and reporting.
  • Attend trade shows and vendor events.
  • Special projects with the executive team.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in partner management, channel sales, or business development.
  • Strong program management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute partner strategies that drive business growth.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Analytical skills to assess program performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and partner management tools.
  • Knowledge of the industry and partner ecosystems relevant to the company’s products or services.

Environment:

This position will require 40% travel in the first year while establishing relationships to partner locations and industry events. The role typically involves working in an office/remote environment with standard working hours, but flexibility may be required to meet partner needs. Hours may fluctuate due to time zones.
