Job Summary
The primary function of this position is for any and all aspects of welding, with a secondary function of minor maintenance and repair, on fleet vehicles and equipment. Must abide by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely. Consistent and reliable attendance is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Be able to weld in any aspect with various welding equipment provided in the fleet garage, including using an oxy-acetylene outfit for cutting purposes.
Design, fabricate, and repair a variety of metal work.
Perform minor repair and maintenance on fleet vehicles.
Performs all work in accordance with schedules, policies, procedures and standards of quality and safety.

Approval of pre-employment reference & background checks, and post offer drug/alcohol testing with back screens (if required) are required as conditions of employment. Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED; and
- Two years of experience in welding with working knowledge of the use and care of arc welding equipment, acetylene torches, grinders, and other tools of the welding trade; or
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid driver's license. Must be insurable.
- Ability to regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to climb in/out of heavy equipment.
