Data Engineer

FDM is seeking the below role to support a project delivery in the NYC region.

Role Overview : Data Engineers will be responsible for handling data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. They will develop and maintain data pipelines and automation scripts, ensuring data quality and integrity.

Key Responsibilities :

• Handle data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and automation scripts.
• Ensure data quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support data needs.
• Optimize data workflows and processes.

Skills and Qualifications :

• Proficiency in SQL and data integration tools (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend).
• Experience with data lakes (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Data Lake) and APIs.
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Experience :

• Minimum 5 years in data engineering roles, focusing on ETL processes and data pipeline development.
