We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager for our Industrial Tapes business unit. In this remote role, the Sales Manager will represent the company in the marketplace and focus on increasing market share, profitability, and sales growth with existing accounts, while placing a strong emphasis on developing new accounts. A background in the electronics indsutry is essential.

Our client is a leader in chemical manufacturing, and they specialize in industrial adhesives , industrial tapes , and anticorrosion products. They have successfully acquired and integrated 5 companies since 2018 and are on a continued growth trajectory.

Description

  • Drive profitable growth and maintain or increase market share.
  • Communicate frequently with customers and channel partners regarding contract issues, problem resolution, and new business opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activities in the marketplace and make strategic recommendations to counteract their actions.
  • Secure product approvals and gain specifications for company offerings.
  • Negotiate favorable terms with customers to maximize profit margins while adhering to established pricing guidelines; assist in contract development.
  • Build relationships with customers beyond the Purchasing Department and provide relevant information to the Sales Director.
  • Attend industry functions, seminars, and symposiums to represent the company and gather market insights.
  • Collaborate with customers to increase market share by developing new products and addressing customer needs.
  • Clearly communicate customer requirements to our organization and understand how they align with our capabilities.
  • Drive growth in the sales funnel and maintain an active CRM database.
  • Provide input to the Sales Director related to sales forecasting and budgeting.
  • Assist with marketing efforts, including creating presentations, videos, blogs, and white papers.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years in a relevant sales role.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently.
  • Strong mental flexibility, patience, and ability to multitask.
  • Must be willing to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365; strong proficiency in Excel is highly favorable.
  • Experience in the industrial tapes or wire and cable industry is strongly preferred.

Job Offer

  • $100,000 - $120,000 base salary
