Job Title: Controls EngineerJob DescriptionProgramming and troubleshooting of highly automated electric battery motor manufacturing facility equipment. Includes Keyence PLC programming, Fanuc robotics, and Omron encoders and vision systems. In June, they integrated AI vision system to help with quality detection. Participate in daily meetings to discuss equipment and process issues to determine solutions. Must be able to program PLCs from scratch.Hard SkillsKeyence PLC programmingFanuc roboticsOmron encodersJob TypeThis is a permanent position.Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Berea, Kentucky.Work EnvironmentThis is a joint venture between Honda and Our Client. Honda owns 49% and Our Client owns 51%. They will be manufacturing electric motors and components for Honda. This will be a clean room environment. The parts they are creating are stators and rotors. Required to sit or stand for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Ability to work 40 – 60 hours per week. Less than 10% domestic and international travel may be required as needed.
