Overview:

VAST Data is looking for a Sr. Business Analyst who has the combination of technical, project management, and analytical skills. The candidate should be able to roll up their sleeves and work hands-on in Salesforce (SFDC), as well as work with business stakeholders to develop solutions to improve VAST systems, data quality, and processes. Additionally, the candidate will have extensive experience working with technical teams on implementing these solutions.

This will be a technical resource that combines data analytics with Salesforce administration. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of Customer Success (CS) related programs, organizational structures, tools, best practices, and strategies. In addition to administration of Salesforce Service Cloud, the candidate will have strong analytical skills including development of Salesforce dashboards and reports.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  1. Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and interpret data from various sources, especially Salesforce, to provide actionable insights and support business objectives.
  2. Reporting: Develop ad-hoc reports and analytics packages for regular business reviews. Builds and maintains dashboards in Salesforce and Tableau.
  3. Data Visualization: Create clear and compelling visualization to represent data, trends, and performance metrics. Delivers actionable insights based on the data.
  4. Data Management: Ensure the accuracy of data through regular audits and process improvement efforts. Works to maintain a data strategy and improve the integrity of our data.
  5. Salesforce Administration: Act as the primary admin for Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce Community Portal.
  6. Tools & Technology: Works with the Tools & Automations team design tools and workflows within Salesforce which reduce repetitive manual work.
  7. Process & Policy: Works cross-functionally to streamline processes. Troubleshoot process errors and data issues to both provide an immediate fix and implement resolutions and improvements across business systems.
  8. Support & Enablement: Act as a primary support resource for Customer Success teams for all help requests related to Salesforce workflows, processes, and analytics.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  2. 5+ years in Customer Support, Business Analyst, or similar role.
  3. Certified Salesforce Administrator.
  4. Preferred: Experience Cloud Consultant Certification and Service Cloud Consultant Certification.
  5. Preferred: Experience supporting a global customer-focused team.
  6. Preferred: Enterprise software or high-tech industry experience is a plus.
  7. Intermediate to Advanced experience with Tableau, Salesforce dashboards and Excel to design and produce business insights and analytics.
  8. Travel: 20% to Tel Aviv and San Jose offices.

  5. Strength in researching, understanding, distilling, and communicating complex business issues, ideas, and analyzing business impact.
  6. Familiarity with/drive the Agile development and release methodologies, especially for the automation of business processes and improvements/redesigns.
  7. Ability to thrive in a culture of transparency and direct feedback.
