We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our growing tax department. The Tax Manager will assist in income tax compliance, accounting, and planning. Previous indirect tax experience is a plus. Success in this role is dependent on leadership, communication, project management, process improvement, strategic execution, and the ability to perform in a rapidly changing business environment.
Principal Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual income tax provisions; prepare monthly tax entries, account reconciliations, and other tax accounting reports in accordance with ASC 740/IAS 12;
- Coordinate tax-related studies such as Research and Development tax credit and M&E analysis with external service provider;
- Collaborate with affiliates to ensure global compliance;
- Research and respond to internal clients on tax-related matters;
- Lead or assist with ad hoc projects or assignments;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Degree & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance;
- 5+ years combined experience working in public accounting or corporate tax departments;
- CPA.
Job Knowledge & Skills:
- Facility with federal, multi-state, and international tax concepts;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate in a team-oriented environment;
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, OneSource Tax Provision, and tax research tools.
