Buyer/ Sr. Buyer
LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking to ramp up a search for a Buyer/Sr. Buyer for an innovative manufacturing team in the Cleveland, OH area. Our client is dedicated to excellence in their operations and is looking for a skilled Commodity Buyer to help them maintain their competitive edge through strategic purchasing decisions.
The Commodity Buyer will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials and supplies needed for production. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in sourcing, negotiating, and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute commodity strategies to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and service.
  
• Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure advantageous terms.
  
• Oversee the procurement process from purchase order creation to delivery of goods.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast needs and manage inventory levels.
  
• Conduct market analysis to stay informed of industry trends and leverage insights for procurement decisions.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards in all purchasing activities.
  
• Manage a significant annual spend and contribute to the companys long-term supply chain success.
  

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commodity buying, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  
• Proficiency in procurement software ERP and Microsoft Office Suite.
  
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
  

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
