Position OverviewFull Spectrum Operations LLC (FSO) is a SDVOSB JV between American Communication Solutions LLC, an SBA VetCert verified SDVOSB, and By Light Professional IT Services LLC (By Light). FSO is looking for personnel to support the Network Enterprise Center Picatinny Arsenal New Jersey (NEC PANJ) with classified and unclassified communication systems support. Personnel will provide Site Management, Infrastructure Operation and Maintenance (O&M) - Unified Communications, Inside Plant (ISP), Customer Service Telephone, and Outside Plant (Cable) (OSP); Information Technology (IT) Systems Support - Network Maintenance, Help Desk Assistance, Voice over Internet Protocol/Voice over Secure Internet Protocol (VoIP/VoSIP), Network Engineering, and Cybersecurity; Telecommunication Support; Radio Systems Operation; Tower and Antenna Support; and Configuration Management.
Work is on site and core duty hours are 0700 - 1700, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. All personnel will work an 8-hour workday.
Responsibilities- Responsible for creating and updating drawings of all information systems circuits, lines, and systems into the Government's Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) program.
- Maintain a web-based information database composed of complex maps, cable/fiber configurations, digital and hard copy sketches, diagrams, drawings, photographs, databases, and tables configured in a database management system.
- Maintain all drawings using Auto CAD.
- Identify circuit components, and document all findings.
- Update and maintain all OSP, ISP and remote communications facilities drawings in the CAD system.
- Complete redline drawings within 10 working days of completing required changes required changes.
- Maintain all site drawings in final CAD format.
- Maintain drawing files in a viewable format and translate drawings to other formats.
- Support CAD blueprints, building information modeling (BIM) file SW and maintain an electronic hard-copy PIP drawing library and update related TMS asset management databases.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Education: Possess an associate's degree or have a minimum of 4 years' of relevant experience supporting AutoCAD requirements.
- Minimum of two years' experience with AutoCAD.
- Trained and certified on the use of an AutoCAD system and be able to utilize GPS software/equipment, plotters, and scanners.
- Have the ability to follow circuit paths, circuit diagrams, schematic cable/fiber runs, and engineering drawings, identify circuit components, and document all findings.
- Fluent in the spoken and written English language, to include the usage of technical terms commonly used in information technology (IT), network routing and switching, telecommunications, IT maintenance, and technical control facilities.
- Residential Qualification (On-the-Job) - AutoCAD Training.
- Supported the U.S. Army or other DoD Agency.
- Has the communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
- Security Clearance: Secret.
