Job Title: Senior AccountantJob DescriptionAs a Senior Accountant, you will support the company's fixed asset accounting process, including modifying and maintaining asset information within the company's fixed asset software, preparing monthly journal entries and reconciliations, and preparing schedules for financial reporting and audit purposes. You will also work with key stakeholders to determine proper accounting for fixed assets. Additionally, you will support the company's monthly close process, including preparing monthly journal entries, performing GL account reconciliations, performing data analysis, researching transactions for proper accounting treatment, preparing financial reports, completing rapid period-end closings, and meeting all required deadlines.ResponsibilitiesModify and maintain asset information within the company's fixed asset software.Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations.Prepare schedules for financial reporting and audit purposes.Work with key stakeholders to determine proper accounting for fixed assets.Support the company's monthly close process, including preparing monthly journal entries and performing GL account reconciliations.Perform data analysis and research transactions for proper accounting treatment.Prepare financial reports and complete rapid period-end closings, meeting all required deadlines.Support financial and SOX audits, including preparation of documentation, workpapers, and reports to support audit inquiries from internal and external auditors.Develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues across the company.Maintain current knowledge of GAAP and other accounting and reporting requirements.Perform additional duties as assigned.Essential SkillsGeneral ledger accounting experience.Month-end close process expertise.Proficiency in preparing journal entries.Fixed asset accounting experience.Knowledge of Blackline and Oracle.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with EBS Project and Fixed Asset Accounting.Knowledge of Blackline and Oracle/EBS is ideal but not required.Work EnvironmentThis position is fully remote with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
