Purpose
The HRIS Temp Data Entry Associate is a part of CWS HRIS team and reports to the HRIS Analyst. This role is responsible for assisting with the organization of a large quantity of employee data files and loading them to the company HCM UKG Pro. This position also has responsibilities related to ensuring timely, accurate and quality data entry of employee information. High level of confidentiality of all employee information is strictly required. An important prerequisite for this position is the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a collegial manner and to work independently to carry assignments through to completion.
This position is temporary (approximately 90 days) with the possibility of extension depending on funding and need. Candidates will ideally be available full time (37.5 hours/week) but part time work may be possible. Desired hours are generally 9AM-5PM EST but may be open to slightly altered hours.
Responsibilities
  • Complete manual transfer of employee files from multiple sources to UKG Pro Document Manager.
  • Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for database entry
  • Reporting and data audit to identify missing documents
  • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output
  • Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications
Experience:
  • Proven data entry experience
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Excel etc.)
  • Basic understanding of databases
  • Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
  • Superb attention to detail in a must
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to manage a large datasets from multiple sources
Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills; ability to work collaboratively and effectively with partners and teams;
  • Ability to conduct oneself in a professional and courteous manner at all times to represent the professional and institutional interests of CWS;
  • Knowledge and experience in working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF and database software is essential; experience with Microsoft SharePoint and HRIS preferred;
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment required;

Education and Certifications:
  • Bachelors Degree is required with 2+ years of relevant work experience

  • Regular work hours must span core business hours 10AM-4PM Eastern time (may offer some flexibility depending on business need)
  • Must use CWS provided equipment such as laptop and cell phone
