VP of Sales

You will play a critical role in building and managing the team responsible for developing new opportunities with Technology and Services focused enterprise brands and agencies, specifically those brands in Financial Services, Education, Media and Entertainment, Technology, and Travel. As a leader, you will drive for performance and operational excellence as you help execute sales strategies to close revenue and build a pipeline of new business in your region. Your team will uncover and engage with these prospects using Skai’s industry-leading solutions across Search, Social, Apps, and Data and Measurement solutions to help grow our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and drive your sales team to peak performance.
  2. Collaborate with your Regional Vice President and the Management team to develop a business plan designed to meet and exceed your revenue goals.
  3. Manage your revenue pipeline to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  4. Recruit, hire and train members of the Sales Team to drive sales excellence.
  5. Work closely with the Marketing and Sales Development team on events and targeted campaigns.
  6. Develop, coach and mentor your direct reports. Support employees through internal talent management programs and performance reviews.

Requirements:

  1. Five to ten years of digital experience in a Sales and/or Sales Manager role.
  2. Working knowledge of one or more of these key verticals: Financial Services, Education, Media and Entertainment, Technology, and Travel.
  3. Willingness to learn. Creativity, passion, positivity, and drive.
  4. People management experience (desirable).
  5. BA/BS degree preferred, but will consider equivalent years of work experience.
  6. Comfort with selling software and services.
  7. SaaS and Sales experience preferred.
  8. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  9. Ability to work collaboratively and as part of the overall Sales team.
  10. Knowledge of prospecting and CRM software (Ideally Salesforce & LinkedIn Navigator).
  11. Technical expertise and ability to acquire knowledge of our solutions.

The salary range for this position is $175,000 - $220,000 plus commissions. The actual salary amount will vary depending on the applicant's experience, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and market data.
