Client Details

Our client, headquartered in Chicago, focuses on mission critical, healthcare, light industrial and commercial work throughout the United States. They are a top ranked ENR contractor that does over a billion dollars in annual revenue, with 95% of their business being repeat. They show no signs of slowing down their growth, and are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to help with that. Description

  1. Work hand in hand with a Project Manager to take projects from start to finish
  2. Manage small owner consultants and prioritize project tasks to meet deadlines
  3. Maintain knowledge of tasks, sequences, milestones and critical path events
  4. Forecast delays in timing, materials or resources
  5. Review invoices, pay applications and change orders to assure pricing accurate, fair and comprehensive

Profile

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields preferred
  • Ground-up project experience
  • Design/build or light industrial experience preferred
  • Commercial or similar project experience preferred
  • Experience in overseeing projects from inception to completion
  • Experience with project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiations
  • Proficient in software applications including Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling software, and web-based applications
