Who you are
- Is a PhD graduate student working towards a degree in computer science, NLP, machine learning, fairness, or another applicable field.
- Has good publication record or is highly motivated towards publishing at top-tier scientific conferences (such as ACL, NAACL, EMNLP, NeurIPS, COLING, ICML, FAccT).
- Strong understanding of ML and NLP fundamentals.
- Experience with common deep learning frameworks.
- Experience in curating large scale datasets.
- Experience with training/fine-tuning BERT, BART, T5, GPT, other LLMs for NLP tasks.
- Experience with LLMs including new modeling techniques, prompt engineering, retrieval augmented generation.
- Experience with fairness and building trustworthy embeddings, models are a plus.
