Charter One, and its sister organization, C1 Apparel, are seeking a talented, flexible and dynamic marketing and PR Coordinator. This in-person role will be located in our Mesa, Arizona office and will perform work for Charter One Apparel primarily, an apparel organization that produces and delivers uniforms and apparel for all of Charter One's client schools, and for Charter One secondarily, an education management organization.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage social media content creation and posting for campaigns that support C1 Apparel's quarterly roll-outs and ongoing seasonal promotions.
- Draft and send email marketing content for C1 Apparel to parents that augment social media campaign efforts and support C1 Apparel sales.
- Collaborate with C1 Apparel stakeholders and the Charter One marketing team to liaise between the
- two organizations, in partnership and with the oversite of the Charter One marketing director, ensuring
- C1 Apparel projects and requests are efficiently and effectively assigned, created, and delivered to C1 Apparel.
- Supports content and copy development for C1 Apparel's requested marketing materials, including but not limited to tri-folds, banners, school materials, web, social, and email.
- Provides support with client events and inter-departmental support as needed.
- Leads multiple projects and works independently in a detail-oriented, fast-paced, fun, innovative, and deadline-driven environment.
- Collaborates with the Charter One marketing and C1 Apparel team on new campaigns and strategies.
- Supports similar duties for Charter One once C1 Apparel projects are complete.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- 1-2 years of marketing coordinator experience, preferably at a B2B or B2C.
- Strong portfolio of recent work.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Meta and Sprout Social.
- General project management experience.
- Ability to collect and interpret feedback, execute the vision, and collaborate closely with team members.
- Experience supporting graphics (Canva is acceptable) for social media and email marketing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.
- Problem solver with a positive attitude and a passion for service.
- Ability to work independently.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, or a related field
- Advertising agency experience is a plus but not required
- Experience working in the Wrike project management system is a plus but not required
- Video and photo experience is a plus
