Compensation Range: $150,000.00 - 185,000.00 (range applies to US candidates only) + Benefits/Variable Comp/Equity - Range may vary based on experience.

About The Job: The Sales Director is responsible for coordinating and developing all activities related to the sale of the organization’s products and services within a specific geographical region or area and achieving sales and profitability goals in that region. The Sales Director provides direction and leadership to the regional sales team. This includes building, developing, and directing the team to ensure high customer satisfaction and achievement of sales goals. The Sales Director is also responsible for developing a comprehensive understanding of the current market in order to formulate sales strategies and set sales targets.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibility:

  1. Set the plan for territory of five to 10 states.
  2. Hire and develop a team of six to eight Account Managers.
  3. Accounts will consist of companies with <1B or some companies >1B in annual reported revenue.
  4. Mentor team on the importance of accurate and timely forecasting leveraging published OneStream standards.
  5. Timely and accurate team forecasts.
  6. Develop and adhere to business plans to achieve the vision.
  7. Forecast and track sales of named accounts.
  8. Conduct analyses to determine pricing and terms of related products and services within the current market, and customer needs and preferences.
  9. Leverage existing base of industry/partner contacts and clients as points-of-access to promote OneStream products and services.
  10. Mentor team on cultivating new client accounts as well as maintain existing account relationships to achieve team sales targets.
  11. Mentor team to conduct research into potential new clients to develop effective sales strategies in preparation for initial engagement.
  12. Facilitate a high-profile presence in the market place through the development of long-term client relationships/partnerships.
  13. Guide team to develop comprehensive proposals in response to client RFQ/RFP’s.
  14. Be a leader of OneStream XF product knowledge and industry knowledge/trends, always adhering to our goal of 100% customer success.

QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

Formal Education and Certification:

  1. Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a sales manager, sales representative, or a related occupation specifically in B2B selling across the Enterprise.
  2. Experience working in a consultative capacity with C-level customers on complex cloud-based, on-premises, or hybrid solutions.
  3. Extensive customer service experience in assessing and evaluating customer needs and satisfaction and meeting specified standards with respect to products and services.
  4. Exceptional oral and written comprehension, communication, and presentation skills.
  5. Experience demonstrating, promoting, and selling products/services.
  6. Knowledge and experience with marketing/sales strategy and tactics.
  7. Knowledge of administration, business, and management principles.
  8. Experience with MS Office, as well as Customer Relationship Management software and other analytical or project management tools.
  9. Extensive experience working in a team environment.
  10. Track record of exceeding revenue goals.
