We are actively seeking an experienced Mortgage Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, with a strong focus on structured products, particularly in mortgages (MBS, CMOs, CMBS, ABS, CLO, etc.). This role involves expanding both new and existing account relationships to drive sales and distribution across various business channels.

Responsibilities:

  1. Sell and distribute a broad range of fixed income products to Money Managers, HF’s, Pension Funds, Banks and other sophisticated institutions.
  2. Identify and cultivate new account relationships.
  3. Collaborate with the trading desk to tailor MBS/ABS/CMBS products to meet client objectives.
  4. Conduct presentations and educational sessions on structured products for targeted advisors.
  5. Provide exceptional sales service and be willing to travel as needed.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience selling MBS/ABS/CMBS products to accounts.
  2. Bachelor’s Degree and active FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses.
  3. Established network of accounts and industry relationships.
  4. In-depth knowledge and experience in mortgage products and fixed income sales.
  5. Proven history of surpassing revenue targets consistently.
  6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
  7. Experience collaborating with trading desks to enhance workflows and implement new processes.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Bloomberg, Simon, Salesforce, and other CRM systems.
  9. Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated, and capable of excelling in a fast-paced environment.
