Charles P. Johnson & Associates, Inc., is currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the full-time position of Sr. Survey Project Manager for our Special Surveys section in our Annapolis Office!
- Duties and Responsibilities
This is not an entry level position. The ideal candidate will possess both office and field surveying experience and will be tasked with:
· The preparation of Boundary, Topographic and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys under
the supervision of a MD Professional land surveyor.
· Independently conducting research, organizing documents, and analyzing deeds, plats,
and reviewing title commitments
· Utilizing various Local, County, State and Quasi-Public databases for Geospatial data acquisition,
· Field data processing including field-to-finish and traverse adjustment.
- Required Skills and Experience
· Must be proficient with and have at least three years of experience with AutoCAD, Civil
3D and Microsoft Office programs.
· Should have the ability to review and process field data, including least squares traverse
adjustments and importing points into CAD. Experience with Trimble Business Center
and Star*Net is a plus, but not required.
· Should have exposure using networked desktop computer systems.
· Must have good math and communication skills.
· Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation.
· Must have regular in-office attendance, the ability to work independently with direction
and a desire to learn and progress in the Survey profession, both personally and as part
of a team.
