The role will manage supply of materialsand supplies, equipment, and or services, as assigned. The Buyer ensures Cirtec Medical is adequatelysupplied at best-in-class service levels through supplier relationship management. The role is responsiblefor maintaining inventory levels through development of suppliers and maintenance of planningparameters.Key Responsibilities:Procure materials, supplies, equipment and or services in assigned categories.Develop positive supplier relationships to support Cirtec Medical-s mission.Perform Request for Quotation (RFQ) and should-cost exercises to negotiate best-in-classQuality, Deliver and Cost.Ensure a ready supply is available for assigned categories, ensure effective inventorymanagement.Evaluate Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) outputs to determine efficient purchasing tooptimize total cost of ownership.Maintain accurate purchasing records and planning parameters in Enterprise ResourceManagement (ERP) systems.Collaborate with Engineering, Customer Service, Planning, and Operations to meet newdemands by successfully leveraging extended supply chains.Drive supplier development based upon key performance indicators (KPI-s).Complies with company, quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures.Other duties as assigned.Must Have:High School diploma.Must have manufacturing purchasing experience in an MRP system.Must be able to read, write and speak fluid English.Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and specifications.High proficiency in use of computer systems using standard business software: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MRP/ERP systems.This is not a remote positionCirtec Medical Corporation considers everyone for employment and hires qualified candidates without regard to age, race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, protected veteran or disability status or any factor prohibited by law.
