Professional Civil Engineer

Direct hire opening for a Professional Civil Engineer (PE). Our client is currently seeking a seasoned Professional Civil Engineer to lead design and engineering efforts, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our projects.
Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and development of construction documents for a variety of land development projects, including residential and commercial sectors.
• Prepare detailed grading plans, street profiles, sanitary and storm water designs, erosion & sediment pollution control plans, and storm water management calculations.
• Ensure designs meet local, state, and federal regulations and standards, incorporating sustainable and innovative solutions where possible.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, landscape architects, and other stakeholders to integrate all project elements into a cohesive design.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data critical for design and compliance.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies to ensure project objectives and timelines are met.

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Current State Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Professional Engineer, with a proven track record in land development projects.
• Strong proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, or similar).
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
• Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to lead projects and teams effectively.
• Knowledge of current industry trends, materials, and regulations.
• Valid driver's license required.
