About the Role

The Head of Commercial Strategy Operations and Enablement is responsible for leading and optimizing the company's commercial operations, ensuring efficient and effective processes that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction. This role oversees the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures that enable seamless operations across sales, customer service, and go-to-market support functions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute strategic plans to streamline commercial operations, enhance operational efficiency, and drive business growth.
  2. Process Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize operational processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve sales effectiveness and customer experience.
  3. Operational Excellence: Ensure operational excellence by establishing and maintaining best practices, standard operating procedures, and performance metrics across all commercial functions.
  4. Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively, including personnel, technology, and budgets, to support commercial operations and enable business growth.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration and alignment across various departments, such as sales, marketing, customer service, and product teams, to ensure seamless operations and consistent customer experiences.
  6. Data Analysis and Reporting: Leverage data analytics and reporting to monitor business performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement.
  7. Sales Forecasting and Analytics: Establish and maintain robust sales forecasting processes, leveraging data analytics and reporting to provide accurate forecasts, identify trends, and drive data-driven decision-making.
  8. Sales Operations Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales operations strategy aligned with the company's overall sales objectives and growth targets.
  9. Commercial Enablement: Develop and implement commercial enablement programs, including training, tools, and resources, to equip the commercial teams with the necessary knowledge, skills, and support for success.
  10. Territory and Account Management: Develop and implement effective territory and account management strategies, ensuring optimal coverage, resource allocation, and alignment with sales objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience in commercial operations, sales operations, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Solid understanding of business processes, project management, and change management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for NYC: $143,800.00 - $267,000.00.
