Primary Care Physician

Position Summary: Geriatric Primary Care / Internal Medicine Physician MD / DO $200k-$240k+
Leading Geriatric healthcare group needs a Geriatric Primary Care / Family Medicine / Internal Medicine Physician MD / DO in Owensboro, KY. $200k - $240k, DOE! Plus generous benefits package! Work M-F. No weekends! 1+ year of experience preferred. Out-patient. This opportunity is part of a multi-disciplinary team that works together in supporting elderly participants in a lively day care setting! Job Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality cost-effective medical care to the geriatric population.
2. Comply with medical records and risk assessment documentation policies/procedures, quality initiatives and electronic medical record usage.
3. Coordinate and cooperate as part of the patient care team with the center administration, peers, clinical and non-clinical staff.
4. Maintain appropriate patient records & satisfaction standards.

Education & Experience:

1. Medical degree from an accredited school.
2. Current valid state MD / DO medical license.
3. Board certification or eligibility with intent to certify required.
4. Current DPS and DEA certificates (or in progress).
5. 1+ year experience preferred.
6. Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or specialty certification as required by department.
7. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
8. Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities.
