LIMS Analyst

Position: LIMS Specialist

Start Date: ASAP

Length: 6-month contract w/ opportunity of extension

Location: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Compensation: $34-40+/hr

Job Description:

Relevant Experience: 5+ Years

• Strong development concepts of LIMS (Labware and/or Labvantage)
• Detailed knowledge on Labware LIMS/ELN Architecture, Labware Database Structures
• Hands on Experience in LIMS/ELN application development - Interfacing, Upgrade and validation
• Experience in Labware Modules like LIMS/ELN Stability, EM, Inventory, Storage Location Management, Instrument Interfaces, Lot, Sample Management
• Serve as interface between stakeholders and IT
• Resolve or escalate LIMS issues to appropriate IT teams
• Prioritize team LIMS needs for fixes and/or enhancements
• Ability to learn and understand lab, field, and greenhouse operations
• Experience with Agile Software development and JIRA

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Hands on experience on requirement gathering and configuration/development of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Experience in Labware Modules like LIMS Stability, EM, Inventory, Storage Location Management, Instrument Interfaces, Lot, Sample Management for Clinical Trial Manufacturing Domain
• Ability to Solve all Technical Issues in Labware LIMS/ELN, including Interfaces to ERP, Label Printing Software, MDM and all modules.
• Have hands on experience in SDLC and Agile model delivery & in ITIL and ITSM process integrations.
• Labware Certification.
• Proven ability to support a large organization that spans multiple locations

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• LIMS configuration
• LIMS Support to fix and/or escalate issues to appropriate IT teams
• Candidate will be coordinating across multiple teams and team members to unblock challenges and progress each delivery item
• Knowledge of Crop Science
• Conduct Gap/Risk Assessment
• Knowledge of any scripting language is desirable
