Private Equity Associate

Selby Jennings is working with a Dallas, TX based Private Equity firm that will be adding an Associate to their investment team in 2025. This firm invests in lower middle market healthcare and life sciences businesses across a variety of verticals. Their current finds have performed well and plan to go to market for the next Fund in their series in 2025.

Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and evaluating actionable investment opportunities.
• Managing the acquisition pipelines for current portfolio companies.
• Preparing investment committee reports to present to senior management.
• Conduct modeling and financial risk analysis of business opportunities.
• Perform ongoing competitive analysis and work closely with internal stakeholders to assist in the company's strategic decision-making process.

Qualifications :

• Possess a bachelor’s or graduate degree (preferably in finance)
• 1 - 3 years direct experience at an investment bank, private equity or consulting firm.
• Preference for healthcare investing experience but not required.
• Exhibit strong financial modeling and analysis skills
• Be detail-oriented with strong written and oral communication skills
