Illuminate USA, a new standalone joint venture established by two global leaders in renewable energy, is building one of the largest solar panel manufacturing factories in the Western Hemisphere. This 1.1 million-square-foot factory is currently in the advanced stages of preparation in the Columbus, Ohio area. Job Summary
As a Workday Analyst at Illuminate USA, you will be a key contributor in supporting and optimizing our Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. You'll work closely with HR and IT teams, serving as the expert for modules like Time & Absence, Payroll, and Benefits. Your focus will be on ensuring data accuracy, configuring systems efficiently, and identifying opportunities for improvement through analysis and testing.
Responsibilities:

  • Research and implement new Workday features that align with business needs and enhance system functionality.
  • Execute and manage mass data uploads, troubleshooting any issues to maintain accurate and efficient systems.
  • Provide first-level support for system issues, including incident management, bug analysis, and handling escalations for modules such as Time & Absence, Payroll, and Benefits.
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity within the system, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Develop test scripts and facilitate user acceptance testing for new system features and updates.
  • Participate in post-implementation reviews to identify areas for process and system improvement.
  • Review system audit reports and address complex production issues to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • HRIS or Workday certifications are preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in HR or HRIS, with exposure to Workday configurations and integrations such as EIBs, Cloud Connect, Report Writer, and Calculated Fields (Workday Pro certification is a plus).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS Visio, with strong skills in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on process optimization and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and functional teams.
  • Experience in supporting process improvements and managing system updates.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • Coordinate with Workday and external partners to resolve any system functionality issues that arise.
  • Communicate system events, including maintenance schedules, updates, and any changes, to keep teams informed and prepared.
  • Collaborate with global HR and HRIS teams to ensure consistent usage and processes across all regions.
  • Ensure adherence to SOX compliance and other regulatory standards throughout system processes.
