Milliman's Seattle Health Practice supports clients in the healthcare industry including health plans, government payers, providers, and reinsurers. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our team. The Recruiter will be responsible for full cycle recruiting for entry-level positions across technical and non-technical roles, with a special focus on campus events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for recruiting, enjoy working with students and professionals, and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
About Our Practice
Milliman's Seattle Health Practice serves a wide variety of organizations, including insurance companies, health plans, state and federal agencies, healthcare providers, reinsurance companies, providers, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), and employers. The staff consists of 150+ actuarial professionals in addition to healthcare consultants, IT, Administrative, and other non-actuarial staff.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Recruiting:
- Manage full cycle recruiting for entry-level positions (technical & non-technical) across the organization.
- Ensure a smooth and effective hiring process by collaborating with hiring managers, interview teams, and the Talent & Engagement Manager to meet staffing needs.
- Maintain up-to-date candidate records and utilize applicant tracking using tools such as Yello and UKG.
Campus Engagement:
- Lead and organize campus engagement activities, including Milliman info sessions, career fairs, and networking events.
- Manage event logistics such as scheduling directly with universities, drafting presentations, and ordering and managing promotional materials (e.g., tablecloths, flyers, branded gear).
- Partner with actuarial professionals to present virtually and in person during university visits, primarily within Washington state.
Office Engagement:
- Facilitate STEM outreach programs and events for high school and college students at the Seattle office, ensuring engaging experiences for participants.
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver meaningful experiences during onsite events aimed at promoting the actuarial career path.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following qualifications:
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
- 2-5 years of recruiting experience, preferably with a focus on entry-level roles and campus recruitment.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruiting, including candidate sourcing, screening, and offer negotiation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and recruiting activities simultaneously.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Experience in event planning and coordination, especially within a campus or corporate setting.
- A passion for engaging with students and promoting STEM careers.

Location
This is a hybrid position. Employees are expected to work in the Seattle, WA office 2 days per week and may work remotely for the remaining portion of the week.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $68,000 - $98,000, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc. Employees are also eligible for a bonus under our standard bonus policy.
