What is the role?

As a Business Development Manager, your role will encompass full end-to-end sales. A successful BDM will hunt for new business, build relationships, and bring in additional revenue via existing customers. You have a true hunter mentality and will build and maintain your database of contacts, prospecting into new regions and closing deals as we grow. You will help WECO cultivate long-term relationships by matching the right program to each customer. This is an exciting role for someone looking for a visible and high-growth career path.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build your outreach target list by researching potential prospects using proven profiles.
  • Prospect for new customers using various research and outreach methods.
  • Build rapport with decision makers, pitch WECO and close business.
  • Keep our CRM up-to-date and manage pipeline metrics
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with your customers and generate repeat business.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of customer experience.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 1+ year of BDM experience.
  • Experienced with CRM preferred, Hubspot experience a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively, including the ability to multi-task and work in an environment with changing priorities.
  • High level of confidence and hustle.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to establish relationships and build trust throughout the organization and with your customers.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem solving skills/resourcefulness and creativity.
  • Competitive and performance-oriented individual who is driven to achieve goals.

Base salary $40,000 - $55,000 DOE plus commission and benefits.

WECO Hospitality is based in Boston; this role can work remotely.
