What's the role?
This new Sales Manager role will lead the sales function and drive revenue growth for the company. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing key accounts, and achieving sales targets. The main objectives of the role include:
- Maintain a successful sales function that meets and exceeds goals.
- Set sales goals and aid in developing strategies to better serve customers.
- Review customer activity and anticipate seasonal and future needs to take advantage of sales opportunities.
- Monitor the market and industry trends.
- Is an active ambassador of the company including participation in community, tradeshow, industry, and networking events to build the company brand and develop new relationships to result in increased sales.
What experience and skills do I need to be successful?
There are a few key qualifications for this role:
- The ideal candidate will have experience in sales and/or previous experience working in a related industry with translatable skills for a sales role.
- Passion for building long-term relationships with clients.
- Ability to recognize and act on sales opportunities.
- Experience working at a small business a plus.
What will my schedule look like?
This role will work its core business hours Monday-Friday 8:00a-5:00p. Generally, no travel is expected except for the occasional tradeshow or event.
