This large and fast-growing health system in NJ is looking to add to their Epic Analyst team. This is a full time position local to Camden, NJ. Looking for a seasoned Architect to be the Product Manager's right hand person. The architect will be the “go to” for meetings with stakeholders on big projects and initiatives that are coming down the pipeline to IT. This individual should have the ability to go into Epic to find the solutions for stakeholders. Currently, the team you will join is 25 people (HB and PB side= 10 Epic Analysts, 3 HIM Analysts, and 12 individuals on the patient access team (cadence and grand central). Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the applications portfolio to ensure systems architecture, design, and strategy meets and supports business, functional, and technology requirements.
- Ensures ease of maintenance, application performance, and compatibility with new and existing systems.
- Identifies and documents all integration points across the applications portfolio for new and existing systems, including all third-party vendor systems.
- Provides technical direction and guidance to application teams when implementing new systems, defines limitations and requirements.
- Uses critical thinking in troubleshooting, researching, and solving technically challenging problems involving integrated systems.
- Collaborating with other stakeholders to ensure the architecture is aligned with business requirements.
Must Haves:
- 5+ years as an Epic analyst
- 1+ years of experience with Epic architecture
- 3 required Epic certifications (not credentialed): Cadence, Grand Central, and Prelude certified
- strong with build and architecture on the backend
- knows billing and how the system works with HB and PB billing- knows the architecture
- understands healthcare revenue cycle from start to finish
- knows Epic workflows for billing
