This is a full-time position and will be temp to hire.Pay Rate: Pay rate depends on expereinceSchedules - All Shifts:1 st shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday through Friday2 nd shift: 3:00pm – 2:00am Monday through Thursday3 rd shift: 8:00pm – 6:00am Monday through ThursdayPosition Title: CNCSUMMARYResponsible for producing machined parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine while maintaining quality and safety standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProficient in machine operationLoads raw materials and unloads completed partsRequired to operate multiple machines simultaneouslyPerforms inspection of own parts and co-worker’s workFollows instructions when selecting appropriate tooling and fixturesUses measurement tools i.e., snap gage, digital calipers, micrometers, optical comparator and other measuring instrumentsAdjusts tooling & work offsetsMinor editing of current programAble to run select machines in departmentAble to make adjustments to assure dimensions, tolerances and quality of partsPerforms preventative maintenance on equipment including top-off lubricantsCleaning responsibilities including equipment, chip removal, and work areaFollows established procedures as well as quality and safety standardsMaintains safe work environmentWorks under supervisionPerforms other duties as assigned by the supervisor QUALIFICATIONSGood working knowledge of trigonometry, geometry, basic math and measuring instrumentsBasic understanding of G&M programming codesGood understanding of machining practicesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem solving skillsMotivated and shows willingness to learnTeam player who works in cooperation with othersDemonstrates a strong mechanical aptitude.If you are interested in this position, please apply to the posting.Pay Details: $17.00 to $21.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
