Position Overview

As Community Coffee embarks on its next phase of growth, we are seeking a strategic and transformational Senior Director of eCommerce and Paid Media to lead an evolution of our digital marketing, eCommerce, shopper marketing, and paid media capabilities. The Sr. Director of eCommerce & Paid Media is a critical member of the marketing team who will develop the strategic roadmap to grow our eCommerce business including our Amazon and DTC channels. This leader will be responsible for owning the brand’s digital experience, customer acquisition strategy, and driving brand growth via eCommerce sales channels.

The ideal candidate will have a mix of eCommerce sales and marketing experiences in the consumer products industry with depth in eCommerce and Paid Media strategy. This leader must bring a blend of “art and science” to the role – a proven storyteller and digital marketing leader, who also leverages data, insights and technology to drive marketing strategies and business growth. The candidate will have a deep understanding of the “modern marketing toolkit.” Digitally focused, the right candidate will possess strong experience managing multiple online sales channels, with particular knowledge of leading platforms including Amazon.com and Walmart.com.

A “scrappy” and resourceful marketer, the Sr. Director of eCommerce and Paid Media will pivot easily between strategist and doer – comfortable setting eCommerce and Paid Media marketing strategies as well as rolling up their sleeves to build internal processes and capabilities. Our Sr. Director of eCommerce & Paid Media will be accustomed to working with lean resources and will know how to get the most leverage out of the marketing budget to yield strong results. The ideal candidate will need to be a highly collaborative, adaptable, team-oriented leader and effective communicator who can influence and build meaningful relationships. They must be self-aware and cognizant of their style affecting the behavior of others and respectful of the company’s heritage and depth of experience among their peers. Alignment to the brand’s values is imperative, along with the ability to deeply understand the consumer target and brand positioning.
