ABACÁ is a contemporary Filipino-Californian restaurant, showcasing the beauty and vibrance of Filipino culture and cuisine from co-owners, Chef Francis Ang and his wife and Director of Operations, Dian Ang. ABACÁ honors old family recipes and flavors while using some of Northern California’s best seasonal ingredients. The cocktail program features a wide array of drinks from classics to imaginative Filipino-inspired libations. The restaurant offers three menus including dinner, breakfast, and brunch, they also have fresh baked pastries, ensaymada, and espresso drinks.
ABACÁ is located at 2700 Jones St., San Francisco inside the Kimpton Alton Hotel in San Francisco’s iconic Fisherman’s Wharf.
We are open for dinner Monday - Sunday, 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., for breakfast Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and for brunch Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The Panaderia is also open Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
We are looking to expand our Pamilya with the right people. We are looking for full time employees so that is 5 days a week. We want people that really understand the feeling behind hospitality and drive to give each person that comes through our doors an uplifting experience. Experience in working in a restaurant that is looking for details is a plus but something that can be taught. We want drama-free and genuine people.

Requirements:
- Provide enlightened service to every guest.
- Previous hospitality experience preferred
- Accurately take and enter orders and communicate flow with management and chefs.
- Knowledge of POS (point of sales) systems.
- Must be able to lift heavy boxes (at least 50 lbs).
- Ability to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods of time
- Occasional kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing is required.
- Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays as the business dictates.
- Food safety certification + TIPS certification
- Maintains physical facilities within the restaurant space.
- Implements policies and protocols for restaurant operations.
- Holds staff accountable to restaurant policies, procedures, service standards, and steps of service.
- Assists the Director of Operations as directed.
- Trains, schedules, and delegates work assignments to all Front of House department team members
- Develops positive customer relationships and addresses guest issues.
- Responds efficiently and accurately to guest needs.
- Appraises staff performance and provides feedback to improve productivity.
- Develops strategies for better workplace efficiency and goal achievement.
- Liaises between employees and Director of Operations (“DO”).
