Job Overview:
Provide office support functions for the Pharmacy department.
Qualifications:
Required:
- A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.
- Successful completion of all orientation programs.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Preferred :
- Experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Administrative clerical experience.
Scheduling Requirements:
- Per Diem
- Day
Essential Functions:
- Distribute lab results to physician and pharmacy staff and scan results to patients' charts.
- Scans all pharmacy orders/ancillary paperwork into CPR software.
- Sort and distribute faxes for the Pharmacy department.
- File narcotic scripts.
- Answer telephones and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
- Assists pharmacy manager with employee record keeping and scheduling.
- Understands and participates on different committees.
- Willing to be cross trained to work or assist in other areas. Helps co-workers when appropriate.
- Willingness and flexibility to work on alternating work schedules on short notice. Will support management and do what is asked.
