Technical Trainer

Role :Technical Trainer

Location:Golden, CO (Hybrid)

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7 AM - 5 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Content Development: Assist in designing, developing, distributing, and implementing technical training materials in various formats, including articles, classes (in-person and virtual), newsletters, presentations, videos, and websites.
• eLearning Administration: Support the administration of eLearning and learning management tools.
• Training Delivery: Provide training related to technology and computer applications for users at all proficiency levels.
• Content Review: Review and revise existing training content, such as job aids, handouts, and reference materials.
• Module Creation: Develop digital learning modules, including content creation, audio, and video recording.
• Resource Development: Create presentations, e-learning modules, hands-on exercises, and documentation to facilitate effective learning experiences.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Business Innovation & Technology teams to ensure training materials are current and relevant to emerging technologies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to create impactful technical training materials that prepare our workforce for future challenges.

Required Skills and Experience

• Technical Training Expertise: Intermediate to advanced experience in creating technical training content/curriculum, especially for MS Office 365, suitable for entry-level to proficient users.
• eLearning Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360, or similar platforms for online training creation.
• Video Editing Skills: Experience with Camtasia or similar tools for screen recording and video editing.
• Microlearning Experience: Preferred experience in developing microlearning content.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of articulating complex technical concepts clearly.
