The IT Director will play a crucial role in the delivery of IT services to this top Community Health System. The ideal Director will possess strong clinical skills, a commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Hospital IT Director will be responsible for departmental operations, strategy development, solution discovery, network infrastructure, and ensuring that the system adequately supports the company's computing, processing, security, and communication needs. The Director will work in collaboration with Hospital leaders to identify improvement goals and establish strategies to advance long-term goals for the health system.

A Bachelor’s prepared candidate with extensive experience working in healthcare IT systems and previous vendor management and contract negotiation exposure will surely make for a quick interview! Extensive IT Director leadership experience in the healthcare setting is definitely a bonus.
