POSITION SUMMARY The Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Revenue Cycle Manager leads a dynamic team of 10 people responsible for optimizing revenue cycle operations for 5 and soon to be 8 ASC clients. This leadership role will encompass managing team members, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, improving performance metrics, analyzing reports, and fostering strong client relationships. The successful candidate will possess the initiative and drive to demonstrate the MedHQ RITE values. Candidates will thrive in a metric driven, scorecard-based environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and oversee a team of revenue cycle specialists dedicated to enhancing the financial success of ambulatory surgery center clients.
• Ensure strict compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid guidelines.
• Develop and execute strategies to enhance performance metrics related to revenue cycle, such as billing efficiency, denial management, and revenue optimization.
• Analyze financial and operational reports to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement, and implement effective solutions accordingly.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Trajectory RCS and clients, maintaining regular communication to address inquiries, provide updates, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique needs and objectives, and tailor revenue cycle solutions to meet their specific requirements.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations of team members, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate ongoing training and development initiatives.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in ASC revenue cycle management and integrate this knowledge into operational strategies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of revenue cycle processes and systems, recommending and implementing enhancements as necessary to drive continuous improvement.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
• Candidates will have a minimum of five years’ progressive revenue cycle experience and two years management experience, with a minimum of three to five years of experience working with ASC revenue cycle billing and coding within a fast pace, high growth company.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, with a demonstrated ability to ensure adherence across operational processes
. • Proven track record of improving revenue cycle performance metrics and achieving measurable results. • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions to drive operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach to client interactions. • Proficiency in revenue cycle management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) are preferred.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning to stay abreast of industry trends       and emerging best practices.
• Multilocation experience and the ability to thrive on complexity are necessary. • Strong subject matter expertise    in Epic is an enhancement to candidacy.
• Trusted advisor and client relations with the CFO and C-Suite are necessary.
• Ability to analyze and assess training and development needs.

EDUCATION • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, finance, or a related field.
