**Job Title:** Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

**Shift:** Variable (08:00-16:30 Monday-Friday)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 2+ years of experience
**License:** Arkansas License required
**Certifications:** Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology, ACLS, BLS
**Must-Have:**
- 2-3 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab
**Job Description:**
- Responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing treatment.
- Use equipment to minimize hazards of electric shock, burns, and extraneous radiation to patients.
- Instruct and prepare patients for radiographic and/or fluoroscopic examinations.
- Assess patients' understanding of the process and informed consent for invasive procedures.
- Demonstrate the ability to assess cardiorespiratory systems for changes in pediatric to geriatric patients and treat appropriately.
- Direct and assist in maintenance and handling of special equipment, monitors, and instruments.
- Assist in maintaining basic records and reports.
- Understand hospital policies and the functions of other departments.
- Maintain sterile technique when appropriate.
- Practice medical and surgical aseptic procedures.
Dress Code: Scrub color - black.
