Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
Ø Bachelor degree in a relevant field is desirable.
Ø Broad experience from either a development or operations perspective.
Ø Experience working with web and Java/J2EE based applications.
Ø Proficiency with Unix Commands and PL/SQL.
Ø Ability to work closely with a cross-functional team.
Ø Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills.
Ø Knowledge of monitoring tools like SPLUNK and TELEAF would be an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
Ø Handle the sustainment engineering operations for the eCommerce platform.
Ø Resolve critical issues impacting the platform, customer experience, and in turn revenue within the SLA.
Ø Provide root cause analysis for critical issues and mitigation plans.
Ø Ensure process compliance including Sox controls.
Ø Maintain system health and performance, ensuring business KPIs like traffic and order conversion are met.
Ø Provide quick turnaround for critical issues like security vulnerabilities and site outages.
Ø Design and develop monitoring applications, automated status reports, and other value-added ideas.
Ø Interact with various stakeholders including business for discussions over long and short-term solutions.
Ø Collaborate with client teams (IT and Business) on process setup and improvements.
Ø Coordinate releases, including release planning and execution, and interact with teams during release execution for deployment and validation.
Ø Analyze and resolve deployment issues.
Ø Front-end client escalations and mitigate them.
Ø Schedule and prioritize work, planning a sequence of operational activities that accomplish the planned targets. Set priorities and provide reports to management.
Ø Analyze weekly performance reports for different global markets and share findings with management.
Ø Interact with offshore and development teams for day-to-day operational activities and quality assurance using proprietary tools of HCL.
Ø Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams for issue analysis and resolution.
