TruChoice Federal Credit Union is seeking a Human Resources Director to work in their South Portland office with hybrid flexibility.

Requirements of the Human Resources Director:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or professional certification such as SHRM
• 5-10 years’ of progressive Human Resources Leadership experience.
• Experience leading a team and coaching direct staff and managers.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities of the Human Resources Director:

• Oversees performance of the department personnel. Coach managers and direct reports, conducts performance evaluations, implements performance management plans, and makes hiring, termination & promotion recommendations.
• Collaborates with leadership team to create and execute a talent management evaluation program.
• Participates in the development of the organizational 5-year strategic plan. Drives the execution of the strategic plan. Works with managers to establish annual department plan and key performance goals.
• Oversees operations of the Human Resources department. Acts as Subject Matter Expert in applicable regulations, laws, industry standards and makes policy and procedure recommendations.
