The Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners is seeking a Facility & Parks Maintenance Director for their office located in Crestview, Florida.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB
Leads, plans and directs the daily operations of the Facility & Parks Maintenance Department. Provides clean, safe, attractive and efficient environments in which the public can enjoy, county staff may work, and the public conducts business.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Training, and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction or Management, Business, Public Administration, or closely related field; supplemented by a minimum of eight (8) years progressively responsible project management and facility/park maintenance experience, to include a minimum of five (5) years professional experience in a supervisory/management capacity; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Experience in local government, grants, emergency management/natural disasters response, and the FEMA project process within the State of Florida, preferred.
Licenses and/or Certifications: Requires a valid driver license.
Salary: $105,000 – $130,000 Annually
