We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Digital Content Manager to join our Adventure Sports platform which consists of Fox Racing, Bell Helmets, Giro Sport Design, CamelBak, QuietKat Electric Bikes, Blackburn and more. In this role, you will play a strategic role in establishing standardized processes and managing resources to ensure efficient direct digital initiatives. You will lead a high-performing team in developing and executing a comprehensive digital content strategy that elevates brand visibility and drives growth for our Adventure Sports brands.
This position reports to the eCommerce Director of North America and is based out of our Irvine, Ca location.
As the Sr. Digital Content Manager, you will have an opportunity to:
- Own the strategy for website and Amazon content using data and insights to drive brand awareness, increased traffic, and new customer opportunities.
- Develop and lead the execution of a data-driven content strategy that aligns with brand goals and optimizes SEO, engagement, and customer acquisition.
- Develop content strategy, creation, execution, and management of content across branded sites and Amazon marketplace through management of content team and partnership with fellow digital team members and marketing.
- Manage a team of content creators, assigning projects, providing coaching, and ensuring high-quality content output across websites and Amazon platform.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, sales, and merchandising teams to ensure brand consistency and optimize digital platforms and channels.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and lead efforts to streamline content creation processes.
- Oversee content creation and deployment schedules, including ideation, production, and promotion across websites and digital channels.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to effectively communicate brand voice and deliver impactful content.
- Lead the content team in driving traffic, engagement and sales supporting financial and brand objectives based on a thorough understanding of our market. Lead the team in creating and executing content strategies which incorporate data insights, consumer feedback, SEO best practices, and competitive analysis.
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, Ecommerce, or a related field of study.
- 5+ years in experience with a focus on content marketing preferred. Retail ecommerce experience is a plus.
- 3 years management experience of an ecommerce or digital content team.
- Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data.
- Extensive experience developing and managing successful content strategies in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of content creators.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization for various ecommerce goals.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
