Parsons is seeking a Massachusetts Operations Lead based out of our Boston, MA office! We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the position of Massachusetts Operations Lead within our Northeast operations. The Massachusetts Operations Lead will report to the Northeast Regional Manager and play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the operational aspects of the projects and the staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with specialized expertise in design and project management of transportation projects. As the Massachusetts Operations Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects, fostering collaboration within the team, profitability and growth of the operation and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Additional responsibilities include leveraging key accounts, closely coordinating and collaborating across business lines while providing innovative leadership. The successful candidate will mentor and develop an established group delivering bridge, tunnel, transit, road, and highway infrastructure programs in Massachusetts. Our Operations Lead must be an effective “seller/doer” and be able to balance business development, operational management, and project management responsibilities simultaneously.

Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in Civil Engineering or related technical/business field.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, with considerable work experience in the State.
  • 20+ years of managing diverse infrastructure projects with a track record of successful delivery of large MassDOT projects.
  • Demonstrable experience meeting operational business goals and strategizing on market development. Experience must include P&L ownership and the ability to meet or exceed sales, operating profit & margin, and DSO targets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience leading and participating in business development activities.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective solutions.

Salary Range: $149,900.00 - $269,800.00
