Salary Information: Annual Minimum Salary-$39,600-Annual Maximum Salary-$59,400

Hiring Range: $19.04-$23.80

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Pro-rated based on hours/week.

PNWU currently offers degrees in Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Master of Arts in Medical Science, and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, enrolling over 550 students annually. General Summary:

Responsibilities include working with faculty across multiple health sciences programs to build, review, and code performance-based and objective assessments; assigning graders; proctoring assessments; following assessment guidelines; generating reports; overseeing assigned assessment activities; and providing general assessment support for students and faculty. Timely communication, attention to detail, confidentiality, and sound judgment are requirements of the Student Assessment Coordinator.

Additional responsibilities of the Senior Student Assessment Coordinator include management of the makeup assessment process, prompt and detailed communication with students, and management of assigned course gradebooks. The Senior Student Assessment Coordinator successfully utilizes Excel, works independently, and exercises sound judgment across all tasks.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Coordinates directly with faculty to build assessments in a timely manner, reviewing assessment items to identify any potential issues related to presentation, content, grammar, or structure.
  2. Proctors student assessments, ensuring compliance with assessment processes and procedures and troubleshooting issues related to software and testing devices.
  3. Generates and maintains accurate assessment reports following each assessment.
  4. Administers assessments to individuals with approved accommodations.
  5. Manages the make-up assessment process while clearly and effectively communicating with students and staff.
  6. Manages gradebooks as assigned, understanding the use of Excel formulas with the ability to detect and troubleshoot any potential concerns.

Requirements

Education:

• Required: Bachelor's Degree

Experience:

• Required: 2-4 years

• Intermediate-level proficiency with Excel

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality requirements; skill in communicating through verbal and written communication, including timeliness, attention to grammar, clarity, and public speaking; skill in time management and adherence to deadlines; ability to maintain accuracy with a high level of detail; ability to exercise sound judgment with strong decision-making skills; ability to work in a team; ability to manage projects, prioritize and self-direct tasks; ability to work with and manage a variety of computer programs and databases; ability to maintain a calm and helpful demeanor during stressful situations; and competence in using Microsoft Office suite.
