Job Description Summary: As an Enterprise Sales Rep, you will be responsible for driving new revenue through net new relationships and cross-selling new PayPal products into the base customer’s sets you manage. Your success in this role will be based on quota attainment and inorganic growth.

PayPal’s Enterprise Front Book Sales team is tasked with engaging with net new merchants to understand their needs and identify the right set of PayPal solutions available for them. What You Need to Know About the Role
To be successful in this role, you’d want to know and manage a broad range of other internal stakeholder groups including compliance, finance, account management, risk, etc. These teams are located across local and global PayPal offices.
Your Day to Day
- Strategic Account Development:
- Owning the commercial relationship managing the overall strategic health of enterprise merchants.
- Provide insights and support to help develop and deliver against the account strategy.
- Analyze accounts' business needs in detail through a consultative sales approach in addition to conducting exhaustive research.
- Develop bespoke solutions for complex merchant needs addressing pain points, tailored to each organization.
- Build trusted relationships with clients at the C-level suite to increase sales effectiveness.
- Frequent face-to-face and virtual meetings with your assigned accounts.
- Cross-functional collaboration:
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure an effective sales effort, including but not limited to product and technical specialists to deliver value propositions across the PayPal portfolio.
- Liaises with diverse groups at merchant client, including Finance, Technology, and Operations, in order to sell complex solutions with multiple stakeholders.
- Operates as an integral member of the broader sales team, sharing learnings and leading by example.
- Proactively solicits coaching from management and applies to field activities.
- Sales management:
- Drives revenue growth of PayPal solutions by meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas.
- Manages the sales cycle for assigned PayPal accounts including outreach and relationship management, pitching, and negotiating and closing new business.
- Creates and manages account development plans and regularly reports on results.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date records in customer relationship management (CRM) system at all times, including activity logs, pipelines, and revenue forecasts.
- Acts in accordance with our compliance and regulatory obligations at all times, including provision of general financial advice.
What You Need to Bring
- A minimum of 5 years of platform selling experience from complex, enterprise solutions within Fortune 1000 companies.
- Ability and willingness to communicate across the organization through structured documentation processes.
- Proven consultative sales abilities and demonstrated ability to work well in a matrix environment, collaborate across multiple departments, and influence all levels within an organization to close sales.
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience required.
