Position: Director of Sales Operations
Status: Full-Time, Exempt
Job Summary
The job of Director of Sales Operations plays a crucial role in our company's growth by expanding our ability to support sales at COE. The primary goal of this position is to give our sales reps and internal team members information on market conditions, dealer trends, and opportunities for increased sales. The individual will review sales statistics to provide regular feedback to reps to help them increase sales. The individual will also connect with reps and dealers via email, phone, and in-person conversations that allow the director to gain market insights and ideas for growth. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales and is a full-time role with the option for remote work.
Job Responsibilities
- Organize and manage Rep Councils to receive and disseminate feedback from rep groups.
- Organize and manage Dealer Council to receive and disseminate feedback from key dealers across the country.
- Grow and manage dealers that sell nationwide and across territories using our nationwide capabilities.
- Assist at industry shows as scheduled.
- Review statistics of dealers including growth, sales leakage, product variety bought, regional success/failure, and other metrics as necessary to achieve objectives laid out.
- Review pricing tiers of dealers annually with rep groups.
- Oversee a select group of sales reps in territories as assigned.
- Review success or failure of price matching agreements made with dealers in competitive territories.
- Manage and run quarterly one-on-one reviews with rep groups.
- Manage commission reports.
- Update and manage design software with design team.
Qualifications (Experience/Education)
- Ability to multi-task in a deadline-focused environment.
- Can manage timelines efficiently and independently.
- Creative problem solver.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Ten years of experience in sales or furniture.
- Bachelor's degree.
Job Requirements:
