Pay: $22- $24/ hour
Children's Dental Health is seeking a passionate Dental Assistant/ Patient Service Representative to join our close-knit team in providing top-notch dental care to our patients. This is a unique opportunity for a hybrid role encompassing both Dental Assistant and Receptionist duties.
As a Dental Assistant and Patient Services Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients feel comfortable and receive the highest quality dental care possible. You will assist the dentist during procedures, prepare and sterilize instruments, take X-rays, maintain patient records, and provide exceptional patient care. The ideal assistant for our team has a calm disposition and a talent for building rapport with young patients, who may be scared or anxious.

Location: Wilmington, DE & Aston, PA
Schedule : Monday - Thursday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. Enjoy a 4 day weekend!
Responsibilities

• Work with patients to make them comfortable and prepare them for treatment
• Taking and processing X-rays of patients
• Checking patients in & out
• Verify insurances
• Communicate with patients on the phone
• Assist the doctors and patients with a wide range of restorative procedures
• Chart and enter notes in Dentrix
• Work in a team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• X-ray certification preferred but not required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic knowledge of hygiene, restorative, and orthodontics
• Dental Assisting certificate preferred
• Dental office experience preferred, but open to those who have a customer service background
