What are the future growth plans of the department, where is this going?
We are only just beginning our journey on a path to change an industry ripe for disruption. You’ll be joining the Sales team at an early point in Briq’s history, where new deals are waiting to be closed, and fantastic career growth opportunities exist. The sales team will double this year and likely triple next as we continue our rapid growth and expand our coverage across North America and beyond.
What would I do every day in this job?
You will talk to CFOs and their teams in construction companies and educate them on how to run a better business ultimately helping them lower their overhead and optimize their resources. You will hunt for new business opportunities in a massive greenfield territory. You will collaborate with your peers and bring forward new and innovative ideas to help the business.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Here’s what you’ll be doing day to day…
- Drive Revenue: Proactively identify, contact and develop a sustained pipeline of new business opportunities using a combination of calling, emailing, social media and industry events. Provide product demonstrations, understand customer workflows and explain how our product can meet our clients’ requirements.
- Closing: Develop, write and deliver sales proposals and respond to client RFP’s (Request for proposals). Negotiate contracts with clients, working closely with sales development and customer success.
- Collaborate: Partner closely with Sales, Marketing and Revenue leaders to improve opportunity management, qualification and forecast goals aligned to company vision. Collaborate with marketing to maximize the effectiveness of our demand generation strategies.
Your Experience & Intangible traits:
The ideal candidate for the Account Executive position will possess the following competencies:
- 3+ years of experience selling SaaS software with at least 2 as an Account Executive
- Construction domain experience a major plus. Experience in a high velocity selling environment and demonstrated track record of achieving revenue targets
- Experience working with Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, Outreach and Gong.io
- An enthusiastic team player who is comfortable working with all department leaders Ability to work in a dynamic, scale up environment.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trends.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.
