Description
Draws and collects blood samples from patients, verifies records and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Mobile phlebotomy servicing our patients in long term care facilities - hours of work vary; Shift will be on-call only for the following days. Friday(s) 4PM-12AM, Saturday(s) and Sunday(s) 24-Hours. Travel to collection site and to main lab required, vehicle is not provided.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. 1-3 year experience performing phlebotomy services. Vehicle and clear driving record.
