PURPOSE
We are currently seeking a Senior Material Handler to join our team in Beaverton, OR. The Material Handler performs the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment throughout the manufacturing facility. This job is primary responsible for shipping orders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Safely distributes chemicals as needed throughout the Beaverton campus, including to auxiliary and point of use locations.
  • Point person for chemical inventory management outside of the stockroom, including cycle counts and other inventory transactions for auxiliary inventory locations.
  • Works with VMI chemical suppliers to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Unpacks and verifies goods received against purchase orders, RMA's, or invoices and maintains records of received goods and communicates any non-conformances
  • Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped
  • Examines, stocks, and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing floor
  • Performs daily cycle counts and variance reconciliation
  • Pulling, kitting and delivery of inventory items from work order pick lists or DFT/Kanbans for assembly production teams
  • Stocks newly received materials and parts into inventory locations per FIFO rules

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • 2-3 years of relevant and recent experience.
  • Experience in chemical handling, stocking and delivery in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be computer literate and prefer experience with MS Word/Excel and any ERP systems
  • Must be able to read, understand and follow safety procedures
  • Must be able to be forklift certified and be able to operate safely

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Must be able to lift 20-35 lbs regularly and 40+ lbs on occasion.
  • Duties routinely require standing, walking, pushing carts and pallet jacks.
  • This position resides in a manufacturing setting, including a class 100 cleanroom.
  • Use proper PPE for transporting and storing chemicals throughout the factory


The pay range for this role in Beaverton, OR is between $18.20 and $24.68. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
